SUMMARY:2017 Environmental System Science (ESS) PI Meeting
DESCRIPTION:2017 Environmental System Science (ESS) Principle Investigators meeting is Tuesday\, April 25 through Wednesday\, April 26\, 2017\, at the Bolger Center in Potomac MD. Terrestrial Ecosystem Sciences and Subsurface Biogeochemical Research PIs are encouraged to spend the full two days at the meeting. All attendees are expected to use the Bolger Center for lodging and meals. Having everyone in the same place for the duration of the meeting increases opportunities for collaboration and exchange of ideas. \n**Note DOE National Lab attendees should coordinate with their management regarding travel allocations. \nDeadlines\n2/24/17 Abstracts Due\n3/27/17 Hotel Registration\n3/27/17 The ESS PI Meeting Registration \nProject Posters (4′ x 4′)\nWe expect each award to provide a research posters to present their overall efforts and progress. Note that research collaborations (from multiple institutions) should coordinate and present one collaborative poster. \nStudent Travel Awards\nDOE will sponsor a limited number of student travel awards to attend this year’s PI meeting. \nIf you have questions or concerns\, contact Dan Stover\, TES\, or Paul Bayer\, SBR.
